Re: H.B. No. 5448 AN ACT CONCERNING A RISK PROTECTION ORDER OR WARRANT.
I am adamantly opposed to this expansion, and equally dramatic loss of rights proposed by HB 5448.
An actual abuser can use this to disarm their intended victim, and then following that, their intended and now disarmed potential victim has to prove by a “preponderance of evidence” they are really not the threat. Oppose this bill.
